For over 30 years, Bronson Family Dentistry has been dedicated to “Whole Body Dentistry” with special interests in TMD, Cranial Facial Pain, Implant Dentistry, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, and Transformational Orthodontics.
What is Whole Body Dentistry?
The Bronson Family Dentistry practice is based on a Whole Body Integrative Approach to general dentistry. They look at the teeth in the context of the whole body and they consider the root cause of the dental issue when developing their patient protocols.
One of the unique services offered by Bronson Family Dentistry is Quantum ALF Orthodontics, and it’s what first brought them to our attention!
Quantum ALF ORTHODONTICS
Traditional Orthodontics and Invisalign level and align the teeth with little regard for the underlying causes of why the teeth are crooked, do not address the bones and musculature structure, and are restrictive by design.
In Quantum ALF ORTHODONTICS, the ALF appliance and treatment look to address the underlying causes of “WHY” the teeth are crooked.
It encourages proper tongue position and function by stimulating it to the top of the mouth, augments cranial motion, is airway focused, and it subtly creates the natural space required for ALL the teeth and helps to reorient the cranial bones and muscles prior to leveling and aligning the teeth.
The Quantum ALF can be used in all ages to create space from primary (baby) teeth through mixed to adult dentition.
In children and preteens, the Quantum ALF is able to develop the dental arches to create space for the incoming permanent teeth for both the Maxilla (upper) and Mandible (lower). This is one of the many benefits of the appliance.
Some of the benefits of Quantum ALF include:
- more space is created for the teeth
- there is more tongue and airway space
- improved chewing
- improved breathing
- a deep internal strength
In essence, the ALF encourages the muscles, bones, and teeth in the cranial complex to reach their more complete genetic potential.

Experiencing pain in your jaw? It could be Temporo-Mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD or TMJ). Approximately 12% of the population, or 35 million people, in the United States are affected by TMJ at any given time. The causes are wide-ranging, and so are the ways to treat it. Read more about it here.
When removing an amalgam filling, it must be done in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner – which we take very seriously at Bronson Family Dentistry.
During amalgam removal, we first supply the patient with an alternative oxygen source through a nasal cannula. We then drape the patient and utilize a special “cleanup” high speed evacuator and employ the IQ Dental Flex Vac. The Dental Hg FlexVac is a mobile air cleaning system with a flexible suction duct. The system is designed to capture drill aerosols, abrasion powder, and mercury vapors during dental procedures.
Resin dental bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material is applied and hardened with a special light, ultimately bonding the material to the tooth.
This resin is an ideal filler for cavities, chipped teeth, tooth decay and more.
Our offices are staffed with general dentists that have taken numerous and extensive continuing education courses to be well trained in orthodontics. We are proud to offer several orthodontic options to best fit your needs and wants.
At Bronson Family Dentistry, we use top of the line carbon dioxide surgical laser system for frenectomies. This allows for minimal discomfort and a quicker recovery time.
Our office is proud to be equipped with the latest in digital X-ray technology. We installed Dexis platinum digital X-ray sensors in early 2011.
Digital X-rays allow for a decrease of up to 75% in radiation exposure on each digital X-ray compared to traditional film X-rays.
Our office offers various options on crown and bridge work to meet your oral health needs and wants. There are many options when it comes to the materials used to make crowns and bridges, and each material has unique qualities that make it a good fit for each individual patient.
At our office we offer the following material types:
- Porcelain fused to metal high noble
- Gold
- Metal free ceramics and porcelains
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
Orofacial myofunctional therapy is a program to reeducate, strengthen, and tone the orofacial muscles and the tongue. Current research indicates that properly toned orofacial muscles aide in swallowing, digestion, TMJ therapy, orthodontic retention, and in the treatment of sleep apnea.
The Fotona laser is applicable to many dental procedures due to its two wavelengths of light, the Er: YAG and Nd: YAG. The Fotona laser can be used for periodontal treatment, filling and crown preparations, and cleaning infections.
